WHAT IS HBA-NENC?
The Home Builders Association of Northeastern North Carolina is a non-profit 501(c)(3) trade association representing builders, developers, suppliers, and specialty trades professionals throughout the region.
WHO CAN BECOME A MEMBER?
Our members are builders, developers, suppliers, specialty trades professionals, and anyone involved in the building industry in any capacity — residential or commercial.
WHAT ARE THE MEMBERSHIP DUES?
Builder, Member, and Associate memberships are $430 per year. Affiliate memberships are $115 per year and must be linked to an active primary member account.
WHAT BENEFITS DO MEMBERS RECEIVE?
Members enjoy insurance discounts, continuing education, networking opportunities, and a unified voice in legislative advocacy at the local, state, and national level.

We serve builders and industry professionals across Northeastern North Carolina, including Aydlett, Currituck, Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Grandy, Coinjock, Barco, Jarvisburg, Maple, Poplar Branch, and Shiloh.
IS HBA-NENC AFFILIATED WITH LARGER ORGANIZATIONS?
Yes — we are an affiliate of the North Carolina Home Builders Association (NCHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), giving our members access to resources and advocacy at every level.
DOES HBA-NENC WORK WITH LOCAL CHAMBERS?
Yes. We hold active membership with the Elizabeth City Chamber of Commerce, Currituck County Chamber, Edenton Chamber, and Perquimans Chamber.
